“Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. “Command and teach these things. Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.”

Loved
She is a precious, precious sister
Belov’d in countless ways
God has brought her in my life
A blessing far, far greater than deserved
And by His grace, I too am loved

A total and complete blessing
My sister is
Without her, I would be sorely lacking
And by God’s grace, I have her
And she is beautiful, wise, growing and loved
AND SHE IS MINE!

Growing
As a tree grows, stretching for the Light
So does she reach, evermore desiring
God gives her water and fills her soul
and she takes it

for she is trusting God
and “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”
She questions, but not because she doubts her prince
But she wants to know Him better
